Pearl Veal “Eat, Share, Win” prize draw competition terms and conditions
By posting a photograph of a dish from a restaurant made with Pearl Veal on Instagram and tagging @pearlvealnz and the restaurant together with a statement of why the dish stood out for you, you are in the draw to win one of two prizes, the prizes being:
Two (2) vouchers valued at $150 from the restaurant at which the dish was purchased and eaten.
The vouchers will be provided by the restaurant and paid for by Pearl Pastures Ltd by way of a credit to the restaurant on product purchased from Pearl Pastures Ltd or by direct payment to the restaurant by Pearl Pastures Limited.
Prize draw competition terms and conditions
1. This competition (Competition) is run on by Pearl Pastures Limited (NZBN 9429048497459), with its registered office at Level 4, 7 Winston Avenue, Papanui, Christchurch, 8053, NZ (Pearl Pastures), and is open from 9am Friday 8 December 2023 to 11:59pm on Tuesday 6 February 2024. Pearl Pastures may extend, cancel, or amend this Competition and/or review and update these terms and conditions on its website at any time, at its sole discretion.
2. To be eligible to enter the prize draws (Eligible Entrant), entrants must:
a) purchase a dish from a restaurant serving Pearl Veal, and
b) photograph that dish and post that photograph to Instagram, and
c) must tag both @pearlvealnz and the restaurant, and
d) must provide a brief statement in the post as to why the dish stood out for them.
3. For the purposes of the Prize Draw, an “Eligible Entrant” will be any natural person who fulfils the entry requirements in 2.
4. Eligible Entrants will be in the draw for a chance to win a prize. There are two (2) Prizes available to be won, being two $150 vouchers for the restaurant(s) at which the winning entrant purchased their dish.
5. A natural person may enter the competition more than once with a different dish from the same restaurant or with a dish from another participating restaurant.
6. Two (2) winners will be drawn from all entries fulfilling the entry requirements. The winners will be drawn before 12 February 2024.
7. The Winners will be notified via Instagram Messenger, or using any other contact details entrants give Pearl Pastures. If Pearl Pastures has made a reasonable attempt to contact a Winner, and that Winner has not responded within five (5) business days, or that Winner is unable to use the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and Pearl Pastures Limited will randomly choose another Winner. The Prizes will be issued to Winners as quickly as possible but at least within three (3) months of the prize draw being made. In the event of any dispute, Pearl Pastures’ decision is final.
8. Pearl Pastures does not warrant that the Prize will meet the Winners’ requirements or that it will be suitable for any particular purpose. To avoid doubt, all implied conditions or warranties are excluded in so far as is permitted by law, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose.
9. The Prize cannot be transferred to others, or exchanged for cash or other benefits and cannot be split. The voucher will be subject to the terms and conditions of any other vouchers issued by the participating restaurant, including expiry date.
10. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pearl Pastures Limited and any restaurant participating shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence), for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss), or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition.
11. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate in any publicity related to their Prize, and that Pearl Pastures can use the Winners’ Instagram post and photo in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment, to promote Pearl Veal.
12. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
